Mumbai Indians fans have received a boost as star pacer Jasprit Bumrah is nearing his return to cricket action in IPL 2025. Bumrah, who has been recovering from a lower back stress injury since January, is currently undergoing rehabilitation at the BCCI’s Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru. Although he will miss at least the next two matches for Mumbai Indians, including the games against Lucknow Super Giants and Royal Challengers Bengaluru, his progress is encouraging. Bumrah has been gradually increasing his bowling workload to prevent a potential stress fracture, and he is close to taking the final round of fitness tests. Once he receives clearance from the BCCI medical team, he will be able to join the Mumbai Indians squad and participate in the remainder of the IPL matches.  This cautious approach is also influenced by India’s upcoming Test series in England, where Bumrah’s fitness will be crucial. The Rajat Patidar-led team has looked clinical this season so far, making sure they cover all the boxes. With most of the players turning up in crucial times, RCB has earned the rewards for it. Meanwhile, the Gujarat-based franchise had a promising yet disappointing start to the season. Playing Punjab Kings at home, the side was hammered for 243 runs in their allotted overs that night, courtesy of Shreyas Iyer, Priyansh Arya, and Shashank Singh.  Notably, GT gave a tough fight till the end but was restricted to 232, eventually losing the game by 11 runs. However, in their last game against the Mumbai Indians, they made sure to finish on the winning side and did so, thanks to their brilliance in both the batting and bowling departments. Che...

At an event in Mumbai, Kohli hinted at his next big goal, saying, “Maybe try to win the next World Cup.” His statement was met with applause, reflecting fans’ hopes for another stellar campaign.
