Universal Boss Chris Gayle meets Prime Minister Narendra Modi

Legendary West Indies cricketer Chris Gayle met Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi during Jamaican Prime Minister Andrew Holness’s historic visit to India. This marks the first-ever bilateral visit by a Jamaican Prime Minister, taking place from September 30 to October 3.

Gayle shared his excitement on social media, posting videos and photos of their meeting, where he greeted PM Modi with a respectful “Namaste.” He expressed his honor in meeting the Indian leader, captioning his post, “Honor to have met with the Prime Minister of India @narendramodi. Jamaica to India #OneLove.”

During this diplomatic visit, the two leaders engaged in discussions that emphasized the strong cultural and historical ties between India and Jamaica, particularly their shared passion for cricket. Gayle, known as the “Universe Boss,” is celebrated not only for his explosive batting but also as an ambassador for cricket in both countries.
