Against England in the 3rd Test match, Rohit Sharma achieves a rare milestone, scoring 1000 runs.

On Thursday, the captain of the Indian cricket team, Rohit Sharma, achieved a rare feat when he scored a century on the first day of the IND vs. ENG 3rd Test. Rohit reached 1000 runs in Test cricket against England with the century. Prior to Thursday, Rohit Sharma's performance in the IND vs. ENG series wasn't at its peak.

The Indian captain got out quickly in the first two Tests, and that raised a number of questions about his form and fitness. To calm his detractors, Rohit did, however, pick the first day of the IND vs. ENG 3rd Test in Rajkot. Nothing can be deducted from the initial batter's innings; he had his fair share of luck during them.

The batter completed his century with 160 odd balls. Although the Indian captain departed at 131 runs trying to play a pull shot off a short ball from Mark Wood, it wasn’t before he completed hitting the milestone of 1000 runs against England in Tests.
