India beat Bangladesh by 7 wickets 2024 in the second test match

India secured a convincing victory over Bangladesh by seven wickets in the second Test at Kanpur, completing a 2-0 series sweep. Bangladesh, after being bowled out for 233 in their first innings, struggled in their second, managing only 26 runs for 2 wickets before India declared at 285/9.

Key performances included Jasprit Bumrah’s stellar bowling, where he took 3 wickets for 50 runs, and YashasviJaiswal and KL Rahul, who both scored aggressive fifties72 off 52 balls and 68 off 43 balls, respectively. Their contributions helped set a solid target for Bangladesh.



In the chase, India lost early wickets but maintained control throughout. Virat Kohli’s quick-fire 47 off 35 balls further bolstered India’s innings. The match concluded with India reaching the target comfortably, showcasing their dominance throughout the series.
