Harbhajan Singh’s Brutal Reply on Whether India Should Travel to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy 2025 or Not

Former spinner of Indian Cricket Team Harbhajan Singh said that Indian Cricket Team should not travel across the border to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy 2025 because the security situation in the neighbouring country is still volatile. Harbhajan also backed the decision of the Board of Control for Cricket in India to seek the approval of the government for the visit before confirming their participation in the tournament.

The Indian board declined to comment on the matter, stating that the administration of the nation will determine whether or not to visit Pakistan. Harbhajan spoke on Thursday, asking why the Indian squad ought to visit Pakistan. There is a safety concern in Pakistan. In Pakistan, things are so bad that accidents happen practically daily. I don’t think it’s safe (for the team) to go there.

The safety of our players is the most crucial thing, and the BCCI is entirely correct in their position. I support BCCI’s stand.” However, the Pakistani cricket board has ensured that all the matches of team India will be hosted in Lahore and the players of 13 will stay in the same hotel throughout the tournament. They also said that being in one city would make it easier to provide foolproof security to the visiting side.
