Pat Cummins Likely to Rejoin SRH on April 17

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) are set to receive a major boost in their IPL 2026 campaign, with skipper Pat Cummins expected to rejoin the squad on April 17 ahead of their upcoming clash.

According to recent reports, Cummins is currently in Australia undergoing a final fitness test for his back injury. If he successfully clears the assessment and receives the necessary clearance from Cricket Australia, he is likely to travel back to India and link up with the SRH camp.

The Australian pacer has not featured in IPL 2026 so far due to this injury concern, with interim leadership handled by others in his absence. His return would significantly strengthen SRH’s bowling attack and leadership group.

Importantly, SRH are scheduled to face Chennai Super Kings on April 18, meaning Cummins could be available just in time for that crucial encounter if everything goes as planned.

🔥 What This Means for SRH

  • Boost to pace attack and overall team balance
  • Return of regular captaincy leadership
  • Better chances in upcoming key fixtures

Cummins’ comeback could mark a turning point for SRH as they look to build momentum in the second half of the tournament.
