Gujarat Titans–Chennai Super Kings fixtures swapped in IPL 2026

In a significant mid-season update, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has revised the IPL 2026 schedule, swapping the fixtures between the Gujarat Titans and the Chennai Super Kings.

  • The reverse fixture on May 21, 2026, initially set for Chennai, will now take place in Ahmedabad (Narendra Modi Stadium) at 7:30 PM IST.

The decision was taken due to municipal corporation elections in Ahmedabad and other parts of Gujarat on April 26, which would have posed logistical and security challenges.
