Wanindu Hasaranga ruled out of Bangladesh T20Is with hamstring injury

Wanindu Hasaranga, the legspinner for Sri Lanka, will not play in the forthcoming Twenty20 International series against Bangladesh, which starts on Thursday, July 10, due to a hamstring injury.

In the recently finished three-match series, which the hosts won by a score of 2-1, Hasaranga injured his right hamstring while batting in the last ODI against the visitors.

Hasaranga will be replaced in the squad for the three-match series by Jeffrey Vandersay, according to captain Charith Asalanka. "We will really miss him (Hasaranga). "In white-ball cricket, he is our superstar," Asalanka declared on Wednesday.
