The development comes after his absence from the team’s recent match against Delhi Capitals in Jaipur, where he was reported to have suffered a “minor injury.

Punjab Kings spin-bowling coach Sunil Joshi had earlier hinted that Chahal was suffering from the problem, which has now been clarified as a wrist injury.
