Suryakumar Yadav injury free after Duldeep Trophy as he is set to play in IND vs BAN T20I series

In a good news for Team India, star batsman Suryakumar Yadav will soon be in action, after missing the Duldeep Trophy for the first two rounds due to a thumb injury.

According to a rumor, Surya will return to action in the third round matches. He will represent India C, captained by Ruturaj Gaikwad, when they take against India A starting on September 19.

That also paves way for him play and lead Team India in the T20I series vs Bangladesh, that is slated to begin from October 6. Meanwhile, Suryakumar had suffered a thumb injury while playing for Mumbai in the BuchiBabu Invitational Tournament in Coimbatore.

The T20I series will take center stage following the two match-Test series. Suryakumar Yadav shared a photo while driving from Bengaluru to Anantpur.

‘Next stop: Anantapur,’ he wrote on social media. The IND vs BAN T20I series will start in Gwalior from October 6, followed by Delhi on October 9, and Hyderabad on October 12.
