Shubman Gill could be named skipper for the IND vs. ZIM series, likely today

The batsman of team India, Shubman Gill, who was there in the T20 World Cup squad as a reserve player, is in line to lead a young team for the IND vs. ZIM tour starting July 6. As per a report, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma will miss the series. It looks like the Ajit Agarkar-led selection panel also inquired with Hardik Pandya and Suryakumar Yadav about their availability, but both declined.



The likes of Abhishek Sharma, Riyan Parag, Nitish Reddy, Tushar Deshpande, and Harshit Rana will be in the team for the IND vs. ZIM series as well. Players like Sanju Samson, Yashasvi Jaiswal, and Rinku Singh, who are warming the bench for the T20 World Cup


In-form openers of Sunrisers Hyderabad Abhishek Sharma and Riyan Parag, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Tushar Deshpande, and Harshit Rana, all regulars for their respective teams in the IPL, will board the flight to Zimbabwe, as will those on the bench during the T20 World Cup, Sanju Samson, Yashasvi Jaiswal, and Rinku Singh.
