Pakistan’s very own ‘Dharamshala’ stadium as PCB made its latest attempt to make PSL wannabe IPL

In its latest attempt to bring the Pakistan Super League to the level of the IPL, the PCB has decided to install floodlights at the stadium in Quetta. The stadium in Quetta, placed at a high altitude, is similar to that of India’s Dharamshala stadium, which has hosted many international as well as IPL games so far. The installation of floodlights in the stadium at Quetta will pave the way for the PCB to organise PSL matches at the venue, bringing more popularity to the league with a touch of scenery.

PCB will install floodlights by September as promised. Naqvi, who is also the head of the Pakistan Cricket Board, stated that PSL matches will be scheduled in Quetta once the stadium has been upgraded. During his visit to the Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti Cricket Stadium, he made the following statement during a news conference: "We are considering holding the Pakistan Super League matches in Quetta."

The PCB also seems to have finally woken up from a slumber to allow its franchises in the PSL to sign one big player each outside the draft, as per reports.
