Travis Head On His Celebration After Scoring Ton Against RCB says, “Little Inside Joke”
Travis Head, the batter for Sunrisers Hyderabad and Australia, disclosed that he was celebrating head coach Daniel Vettori after reaching a century against Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the current Indian Premier League. Head was faultless as he wrecked havoc at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, taking the majority of the bowlers for the Royal Challengers of Bangalore to ground. Head struck the fourth-highest ton in the competition's history and the fastest of the IPL 2024. In just 39 deliveries, he achieved the three-digit milestone.
The left-handed batter's celebration. Which included taking
off his helmet, hanging it from his bat handle, and raising it in the air,
brought back memories of former RCB starter Chris Gayle.
That was for Dan Vettori, Head stated in the news conference following the game. We were discussing celebrations a few days ago, including the ones he attended. We had a running joke off the pitch, which was a small inside joke for Vettori.
He continued, We did really good in bowling, too. We did a great job, in my opinion, bringing them down to 5/120, and DK's outstanding inning helped them get back in the game. However, we bowled quite well. We were aware that we would likely need three or four consecutive successful overs to secure the victory. Pat Cummins bowled really well, in my opinion. The middle overs saw us pick wickets, which helped to set up the game.
