Ahead of SRH vs RCB, Pat Cummins heaps praise on the Indian batter
On Tuesday, the captain of Sunrisers Hyderabad, Pat Cummins, heaped praise on Indian and Royal Challengers Bengaluru batter Virat Kohli ahead of their game against RCB.
Pat Cummins has turned the fortunes of SRH around since being bought by the franchise at Rs 20.50 crore at the IPL auction to lead the team. Cummins has been leading the team perfectly, with SRH scoring big runs consistently.
SRH will now take on RCB at their home ground. The forms of the two teams are on different tangents, with SRH 3rd in the table and RCB 10th.
It is to be noted that Cummins is also expected to lead the Australian side in the T20 World Cup. India’s hopes will be pinned on Virat Kohli after his fine IPL outing. On these notes, Cummins’ praise for Kohli gains significance.
While talking about Kohli, Cummins said, “I admire Virat Kohli for how much he gets into contest, with bat and in field; if he plays 100 days in a year, he will be up for every single day; he is super competitive; off the field, he is very relaxed; I am also the same.”
